Where to stay in Pollonia
Because Pollonia has grown quickly as a tourist venue most of the rooms and apartments are of new construction. You will not find much without en suite toilet and bathroom and most rooms not self catering have a refrigerator. Apartments and studios have full cooking facilities of course. There is only one place in Pollonnia that has just rooms and even there the owners are converting slowly to all en suite units. This is a shame in a way because it means that there is no really cheap rooms. In the days not so long ago when back packers arrived by bus looking for budget accomodation for a few nights before hopping on to the next location after finding a cheap place to stay.
There is still a market for cheap rooms with shared facilities and the only time to get a really good deal is either side of the high season when even studios and apartments can be rented at a discount. However, we will recommend places that, even in Ausust, have competative prices on simple ensuite rooms.
